The Coalition for Community Solar Access (CCSA) announced a partnership with Infocast to produce and host the nation’s first community solar-specific national summit meeting. The Community Solar Summit – Expanding Access to Solar for All, set for July 26-28, 2017 in Denver, Colorado, will bring together industry leaders involved in the development, manufacture, financing and promotion of community solar projects from across the nation.
“Over the coming decade, community solar has the potential to give millions of Americans access to clean, local, and affordable solar energy for the first time,” declared CCSA Executive Director Jeff Cramer. “This promise, and identifying near and long-term pathways to achieve this enormous potential, will serve as the basis for the first-ever national conference on community solar. We will bring together leaders across the community solar ecosystem including solar providers, large and small customers, utilities, and others to discuss ways we can continue community solar’s burgeoning contributions to the nation’s economy, environment and energy infrastructure. We look forward to a dynamic dialogue that will help chart the course for the dramatic growth of community solar nationwide.”

Open to CCSA Members and non-members alike, the Community Solar Summit will feature educational and interactive programming covering: community solar project and program management and design; policy developments at the state and federal level, and market, partnership strategies to achieve community solar’s long-term market potential; and targeted networking to foster collaboration, partnership and business opportunities.
The Community Solar Summit is being developed in partnership with Infocast, the nation’s leading producer of industry specific networking events. Leveraging their years of experience with designing and delivering solar industry events, Infocast will provide management, planning, and marketing expertise for the event. Infocast will begin promoting the Summit today to over 1000 solar industry executives at their Solar Power Investment and Financing Summit in San Diego, California.
