Oregon Governor Bans Canola Production Citing GMO Contamination Risks

Ninety percent of canola is genetically engineered, which contaminates organic and conventional varieties, as well as cross-pollinates with weeds, creating new invasive species problems, as herbicide resistant traits spread to native weed populations.
