Suniva Solar Modules Power VA Medical Center in Florida

Suniva Inc., a metro-Atlanta based manufacturer of high-quality, high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells and modules, today announces its Buy America-compliant modules power the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in West Palm Beach, Fla. The VAMC is one of numerous government facilities in the United States, Powered by Suniva, that is benefiting from a high-powered solar installation.

sunivaThe Buy America-compliant solar system features Suniva’s high-powered OPTimus monocrystalline modules installed on two buildings by South Coast Solar (SCS). In the first year, the system is estimated to generate approximately 281,925kWh which will offset 84% of the facilities usage. SCS provided full design, procurement, installation, utility coordination and commissioning of the system. All of the materials used on this project are BAA compliant.
