BriteStreet to be full stocking distributor of SunModo mounting systems


SunModo Corp. announced the appointment of BriteStreet as its new full stocking distributor. Commenting on the new partnership, SunModo CEO Rick Campfield says:

BayWa r.e. Solar is opening a new fulfillment center in California

BayWa reU.S. solar wholesale distributor BayWa r.e. Solar Systems LLC continues its U.S. expansion by opening another fulfillment center, this time in Southern California. Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., is a prime arterial location for quicker transit times to better serve the many active and prospective solar installers and contractors in the region.

“Our strategy is not to have a huge number of warehouses,” said Boaz Soifer, CEO of BayWa r.e. Solar Systems LLC. “But California is an important area for us. In the past few months we have expanded our sales presence in the state, which has led to a better understanding of customer needs and to increased sales volume. Now we are following with expanded logistics coverage to help our customers more directly with inventory management and planning.”

The new location will officially open and begin shipping to customers on Oct. 17.

BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BayWa AG and combines the activities of the solar, wind, bio- and geothermal energy business sectors. JinkoSolar partners with CivicSolar to distribute Eagle module line

JinkoSolar entered into a Master Purchase Agreement with national full service solar distributor CivicSolar. Under the terms of the agreement, JinkoSolar has been selected by CivicSolar as a Preferred Module Partner and will account for 25 percent of CivicSolar’s module sales. CivicSolar is currently offering JinkoSolar’s Eagle (PID-free) and MX (optimized) modules to its customers.

jinkosolarJinkoSolar’s Eagle modules protect against potential induced degradation (PID) loss and allow installers to use transformerless inverters. The MX modules have three optimizers in the junction box performing cell string maximum power point tracking (MPPT), which improve tolerance to soiling and shading and enable more compact system designs. Both panel types offer superior energy harvest.
