In 2012, Fronius moved its U.S. headquarters to Portage, Ind., and grown its local presence ever since, including a 400,000 sq. ft. facility with a full manufacturing and testing line as well as a 226 kWp PV array. Panel discussion “From Rustbelt to Greenbelt”
Tristan Kreager, Director of Solar Energy at Fronius USA, will join a panel discussion about the economic impact of renewables on the industrial heartland of the US. Renewable energy manufacturing is growing at a fast pace and employs over 30,000 people while adding 25,000 new jobs over the next year.
“With our US headquarters we are proudly contributing to this economic shift in the Midwest,” Kreager says. The discussion will take place in the continental room C of the Chicago Hilton.
Welcome Tour and Breakfast
Fronius invites conference attendees to a walking tour through the 400,000 sq. ft. US headquarters in Portage, IN, including a full manufacturing and testing facility with a rooftop solar system. Fronius will provide a complimentary breakfast and a live Fronius Perfect Welding demo.
A free shuttle will take participants from Chicago to Portage and back.
