Smart Power Maps gives solar developers, utilities and investors the ability to bring large-scale solar projects to market faster with lower cost of capital.

Smart Power Maps enables users to comprehensively evaluate tens of thousands of potential projects simultaneously and supports project management for the best sites through all stages of development. By streamlining and combining the financial modeling and geographic constraints analysis steps of the due-diligence process, the tool cuts weeks from project timelines for initial screening and can reduce consultants’ fees for preliminary diligence by hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Smart Power Maps can provide instantaneous cash flow analysis for a simulated solar facility on any parcel of land 25 acres or larger anywhere in the U.S. Sites may be ranked by highest net present value, lowest cost, or any other metric designated by the user. Smart Power Maps enables any user to quickly and easily build project maps through an intuitive mapping interface that requires no special GIS training. The platform also features the industry’s first comprehensive asset management tool built specifically for utility-scale solar–unifying all the tasks and data associated with project development into a single software application, removing bottlenecks that often slow down development.
