SolaRack, an American solar racking manufacturer, announced the availability of its new standoff waterproofing product SolaSeal. Touted as the first standoff waterproofing base built specifically for the solar industry, SolaSeal is meant to be deployed on flat roof applications such as torch-down, rolled asphalt shingles and thermoplastic polyolefin, better known as TPO.
SolaRack CEO, Moti Atia, sees SolaSeal as a gamechanger.
“The advantages of using SolaSeal are long in coming and the return on investment for solar installers is immediate,” says Moti. “Unlike competing products, it’s one piece, rectangular-shaped like a standoff base, and uses at least 18% less sealant, which is a significant savings opportunity for installers.”
