Direct-shipping program for home insulation introduced; Sustainable DIY sound absorption panels launched
UltraTouchTM Denim Insulation is now just a few mouse clicks away thanks to a new program offered by Bonded Logic and HomeDepot.com.

Consumers can order UltraTouch on HomeDepot.com and have the popular insulation shipped directly to a home or job site. UltraTouch, made from recycled blue jeans, has received international attention as a sustainable solution for insulating homes.

UltraTouch Denim Insulation offers ultimate thermal performance and creates a 30 to 50 percent increase in a room’s acoustical performance. The insulation does not contain formaldehyde or Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). It is easy to use: a portion of the batts in each package contain perforations similar to paper towels that allow consumers to tear the insulation with their hands to get the size they need.
UltraTouch is one of the initial products available through The Home Depot’s new direct shipping program, though some states are excluded.
Bonded Logic also is working with HomeDepot.com to launch UltraSonic Acoustic Panels, an environmentally friendly way to absorb and control unwanted sound in a home or business.
UltraSonic Acoustic Panels are made from 80% recycled materials. The panels absorb about 85% of sonic energy, improving a room’s sound quality and acoustics, while cancelling echoes and reverberation.
