Dynamic Energy Solutions LLC is pleased to announce the completion of an 860-kW solar project for Napoli Foods in Cheshire, Conn. The solar project is one of the largest roof-mounted solar arrays in Connecticut and participates in the Low and Zero Emissions Renewable Energy Credit Program of The Connecticut Light and Power Company (CL&P). Dynamic Energy provided full turnkey services, including engineering, procurement and construction.
“We are thrilled that such a significant portion of our facility’s energy will be supplied by a renewable source. We see our participation in this program as a win-win for our company, the state and, most importantly, the environment,” said Michael Cipriano, Vice President of Napoli Foods. “We couldn’t have done this without Dynamic, who has been there every step of the way. Dynamic provided sound advice, delivered detailed technical information and equipment options and had expert installation teams complete the project on time and on budget.”
Napoli’s solar photovoltaic system involved the installation of a roof-mounted, ballasted array consisting of more than 2,900 solar panels. With an anticipated annual production of 1,095,000 kWh, the solar system will effectively eliminate 773 metric tons of CO2 emissions per year, equivalent to removing emissions from 161 cars from Connecticut roads each year.
