Coming on the heels of Chipotle Mexican Grill’s two award-winning animated short films—2013’s Scarecrow<\/em> and 2011’s Back to the Start<\/em>—the burrito giant is launching a new original comedy mini-series, Farmed and Dangerous<\/em>, on Feb. 17.<\/p>\n

The four-episode season will air on Hulu and Hulu Plus, and satirizes the world of industrial agriculture in America. The show integrates Chipotle’s values and commitment to serving food made with quality ingredients while supporting sustainable and organic agriculture without any explicit Chipotle branding, according to the company<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Much of our marketing is aimed at making consumers more curious about where their food comes from and how it is prepared,” said Mark Crumpacker, chief marketing and development officer at Chipotle. “By making complex issues about food production more understandable—even entertaining—we are reaching people who have not typically been tuned into these types of issues.”<\/p>\n
