This year National Park Week&mdash;technically nine days&mdash;is scheduled for April 19-27. Kicking off the week,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/findapark\/feefreeparks.htm\" target=\"_blank\">free admission<\/a>&nbsp;will be offered to parks nation-wide opening weekend, this Saturday and Sunday (April 19-20).<\/p>\n<p>Below, the slideshow gives a small snapshot of the beauty of the National Parks in the U.S.:<\/p>\n<p>[blackoutgallery id=&#8221;331231&#8243;]&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s theme is&nbsp;<em>National Park Week: Go Wild!<\/em>&nbsp;and everyone is invited to revel in all that America&rsquo;s National Parks have to offer.&nbsp;Whether you are looking for hiking, history, camping or family fun, with more than 400 National Parks in the U.S., there is something for everyone.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On April 26, parks will invite young visitors to &#8220;explore, learn, protect&#8221; and be sworn in as junior rangers during&nbsp;National Junior Ranger Day.
