BZ Media LLC announced that the InterDrone technical conference featuring more than 104 classes, panels and keynotes will debut at the Rio in Las Vegas, Sept. 9-10-11, and will also include an Exhibit Hall with more than 85 industry-leading exhibitors, a Yes-Fly Zone for drone demos, the InterDrone Film Festival and the Women in Drones Networking Luncheon. Chris Anderson, CEO of 3D Robotics and founder of DIY Drones, will deliver the Opening Keynote address to more than 3,000 drone builders, flyers and buyers on Wednesday September 9.
“InterDrone will be the largest commercial drone conference and expo in North America this year, reaching every constituency in this red-hot market,” said Ted Bahr, Chairman of InterDrone. “More than 130 media and association partners on five continents are helping to drive awareness of InterDrone and building it into the premier ‘Big Tent’ commercial drone event in this country.”
“I am very much looking forward to participating, learning and speaking at InterDrone. It is great to see so many leaders from the industry coming together in one place, presenting about the latest developments in the UAV industry,” said Romeo Durscher, Director of Education at DJI.
The InterDrone technical program spreads across three conferences, Drone TechCon, for builders, engineers and software developers; Drone Flyer for UAV pilots and operators; and Drone Business for drone dealers and service businesses. More than 107 drone industry experts are speaking at InterDrone.
John Minor, Provost of Unmanned Vehicle University, one of the premier training academies for drone pilots, added, “We’re excited to have some of our top faculty members speaking at InterDrone, which has put together the largest, and most comprehensive group of classes and panels the commercial UAV market has seen to date.”
BZ Media has also partnered with the CTIA–The Wireless Association® to allow attendees going to CTIA Super Mobility 2015 to also attend InterDrone. CTIA Super Mobility 2015 badge holders gain free “expo badge” attendance for InterDrone, while InterDrone badge holders gain similar free access to Super Mobility 2015, with express shuttle bus service between the event sites running during show hours.
“InterDrone is a must-attend exhibition for commercial UAV operators and we’re proud to be an association partner supporting this powerful, inaugural event,” said Bob Gonsalves, CEO and founder of the United States Association of Unmanned Aerial Videographers, the largest membership association of commercial UAV videographers and photographers in the United States.
