SheerWeave Style 4000, 4100 and 4400 with DOW ECOLIBRIUM — Phifer ushers in the next generation of green window shading solutions with SheerWeave Style 4000, 4100 and 4400 series fabrics made with sustainable DOW ECOLIBRIUM Bio-Based Plasticizers. ECOLIBRIUM is made from 98% renewable feedstock and offers a phthalate-free alternative to shades constructed with traditional plasticizers. Redefining vinyl sustainability, these new compounds meet tough regulatory requirements, providing a reduced carbon footprint and compound that can be recycled in a standard vinyl stream. DOW ECOLIBRIUM Bio-Based Plasticizers also reduce greenhouse gases by 40 percent versus traditional plasticizers. Phifer is the first and only window coverings manufacturer with exclusive DOW ECOLIBRIUM in its fabrics.
SheerWeave Performance + — Offering the maximum in SheerWeave benefits, this fabric takes the performance of a traditional Phifer SheerWeave fabric “plus” the highly reflective properties of metallization and combines them to achieve the ultimate in sun control protection. Performance + fabrics act as a thermal barrier at the window, reflecting solar heat from the building, reducing the amount of glare at the window and increasing the outward view through the shade.  Whether glare reduction or improved heat reduction is desired, Performance + is the ideal choice to manage the harsh effects of the sun.
SheerWeave Infinity2 — Phifer’s eco-friendly, SheerWeave Infinity2 is a collection of 100-percent recyclable, PVC- and lead-free window shade fabrics. Infinity2 is woven from the only core yarn, synthetic or natural, born out of post-industrial waste by-product. Through production advancements, Infinity2 offers a thinner, more lightweight fabric over its predecessor, SheerWeave Infinity, for an overall improved look and easier fabrication.

SheerWeave Fabrics with Acoustical Properties have excellent Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) values ranging from .50 to .60 for their ability to absorb sound.  Within the frequencies of human speech, these three fabric styles achieved absorption values up to .83.
