RP Construction Services, Inc. (RPCS) and RECON Corporation announced earlier this week their partnership to build 8 MWdc of solar tracker projects in Illinois this year. RECON Corporation, a solar photovoltaic EPC contractor based in Michigan, will be building three ground mount solar tracker projects, utilizing the DuraTrack HZ v3 single-axis solar tracker from leading solar tracker manufacturer Array Technologies, Inc.

The majority of RECON’s current workload is EPC consisting of engineering, procurement and construction with in-house onsite supervision and some in-house mechanical installation. RECON Corporation has expanded dramatically in the last year. Growing from a few simultaneous projects to over a dozen currently in progress, RECON nearly doubled its annual installation rising from 27.655 MW in 2018 to 47.936 MW in 2019.
