Solar FlexRack Expands Geographical Reach to Western USA

After a year of exceptional growth during 2013, Solar FlexRack, the innovation leader in solar PV racking and mounting systems, is expanding its geographical footprint, adding new products, and refreshing its brand in preparation for yet another banner year.

Solar FlexrackWith 2014 North American demand expected to exceed that of last year, Solar FlexRack is gearing up for national expansion. The company operates from its headquarters and manufacturing center in Youngstown, Ohio, and has an additional facility in Markham, Ontario, that serves the Canadian market. Solar FlexRack is currently ramping up for the launch of new facility in Phoenix to enhance its supply and service capabilities in the western United States.

CEO Tom Meola is convinced that the company’s recent investments to expand its capabilities and product offerings align well with the changing landscape of large-scale utility installations. With these investments, Solar FlexRack is well positioned to offer its advanced, cost-effective PV solar mounting systems across North America.

“Solar FlexRack’s pursuit of excellence in products and services is a testament to our continuing commitment to set new benchmarks in PV solar mounting system design, so that we can offer a broad range of cost-effective solutions to our customers,” said Meola. “We are seeing an ever-increasing number of projects that are more technically challenging, and for which our innovative fixed ground-mount and tracking systems can be perfectly optimized.”

Designing out inefficiencies

Continued innovation is a core promise of the Solar FlexRack brand. This extends from the new products announced at Solar Power International last year, to the company’s identity. New corporate branding, which will go live over the next few weeks, embodies the company’s continuing efforts to design the most flexible and cost-effective racking solutions on the market.

“Solar FlexRack has built an enviable reputation for excellent engineering among installers, EPCs and developers, so it’s important that our brand reflects our core values of problem solving, creativity, and in-field dependability,” said Steve Daniel, EVP of sales and marketing at Solar FlexRack. “The new branding conveys the transformation of the company while retaining visual elements that symbolize the wide range of flexible racking solutions we offer.”

With new team leaders in key functional areas, an expanded national footprint, a refreshed value proposition, and a singular focus on being more customer-centric in every aspect of its business, Solar FlexRack aims to make 2014 a year of continued innovation and customer satisfaction.
