The DE06X.05 all-black Residential Module from Trina introduces the solar industry to a new 132 half-cut cell layout to optimize power performance and mechanical loading. The combination of half-cut Mono PERC cells with multi-busbar technology enables module peak efficiencies in excess of 20%. Technical innovations like non-destructive wafer cutting, higher density form factor with small-cell gaps, improved anti-hot spot performance, and nine bus bars to reduce resistive power losses increase energy harvest while improving module mechanical strength. Black frames with black labels add to the rooftop enhancing module aesthetics. With this enhanced module configuration, Trina is pleased to offer product workmanship and linear power warranties available up to a 25-year term.

Trina Solar will start shipping these products in April 2021 in production volumes.

Technical innovations like superimposed three-slice split cell, non-destructive wafer cutting, higher density form factor with small-cell gaps, improved anti-hot spot performance, and nine bus bars to reduce resistive power losses increase energy harvest while improving module mechanical strength. The back-side generation from these tracker-mounted bifacial modules can further increase energy generation by 5%-25%, depending upon project albedo. Trina Solar will ship these bifacial products in April 2021 in production volumes.
