Princeton Power Systems (booth 1075), a global energy storage solutions company, is showcasing its Energy Storage IQ (ESIQ) technology platform, which streamlines the delivery of turn-key energy storage systems, microgrid operations and electric vehicle charging solutions. The ESIQ platform ties together batteries, inverters, cooling systems and enclosures, along with control software, to enable seamless integration of energy storage system components prior to arriving at customer sites. Princeton’s advanced inverters operate in on-grid and off-grid modes, ready to be used in peak shaving or full microgrid applications.

The “solar first, storage ready” SunDial from Ideal Power (booth 2679) is a commercial PV string inverter with a field-upgradable, bidirectional energy storage port, making the system market ready today for solar-plus-storage. The optional plug-and-play bidirectional DC port kit enables the SunDial to be installed today and easily upgraded for storage tomorrow, at a cost that is competitive with PV-only inverter solutions. PV arrays may be true floating or grounded with SunDial, providing greater design flexibility to installers. It is also easily paralleled and supports both on-grid and microgrid applications. More on Ideal Power’s technology here.

Tabuchi-system_LargeOn the residential side, Tabuchi America (booth 2933) will showcase its residential solar-plus-storage EIBS system with new functionalities. Tabuchi’s grid-friendly, easy-to-install solution now has four flexible modes that optimize a customer’s solar investment by prioritizing their specific needs — from reducing costs and achieving self-sufficiency to ensuring reliable backup power. Tabuchi America’s total solution is utility-approved, comes with a 10-year warranty and helps homeowners save up to 55 percent on their energy bills. More on the Tabuchi system here.

This year, Enphase Energy (booth 1111) is showcasing its Enphase Home Energy Solution, featuring its highly anticipated AC Battery. The solution is arriving in North America at the end of 2016. In addition, Enphase will unveil its sixth generation, smart-grid ready microinverter system that will showcase technological and cabling innovations that increase efficiencies for installers. Enphase is also announcing the availability of AC Modules which will simplify the supply chain and reduce capital and labor costs for distributors and installers.
