SunLink Corp. announced Ken Schwarz has joined the company as chief financial officer. With decades of successful high-growth company leadership and proven financial and operational expertise, he joins SunLink during a phase of rapid growth for the company — including several new product introductions, expanded service offerings, a recent acquisition and an even more ambitious agenda for 2016 and beyond.

Ken’s wealth of experience and complementary skills in operational excellence and M&A will be invaluable to us as we continue to ramp up — both organically and through M&A,” said SunLink CEO Michael Maulick. “Ken’s addition to our lineup will accelerate our actions to advance universal solar adoption by utilities, government and commercial enterprises as well as in the residential sector.”
For the past two years, Schwarz has served as CFO at Sungevity, heading up corporate finance, accounting and financial partnerships (including managing alliances with Sunrun (NASDAQ: RUN) and Mosaic) for the leading residential solar company.
Prior to joining Sungevity, he was CFO and SVP of Information Systems at Primus Telecommunications Group, a publicly held global telecommunications company. Schwarz also previously served as president and CFO of Simplexity, LLC, and held executive roles at Intersections Inc. (NASDAQ: INTX), where he assisted the company’s growth in revenue from $10 million to over $250 million along with acquisitions, several rounds of financing and an initial public offering.
