Dynamic Energy Solutions LLC is pleased to announce the beginning of construction on a 904.2-kW solar project for DiCarlo Distributors Inc. in Holtsville, N.Y. The solar project will be one of the largest roof-mounted solar arrays in Long Island and participate in the LIPA Clean Solar Initiative Feed-In Tariff (FIT) Program. Dynamic Energy will provide full turnkey services, including engineering, procurement and construction.
DiCarlo’s solar photovoltaic system will involve the installation of a roof-mounted ballasted array consisting of more than 3,000 solar panels. With an anticipated annual production of 1,113,000 kWh, the solar system will effectively eliminate 785 metric tons of CO2 emissions per year, equivalent to removing emissions from 164 cars from New York roads each year.
