Enphase System Expands With New Products

Enphase Energy Inc., today announced the expansion of the Enphase System with new hardware and software products that lower solar system installation and operations costs for solar professionals. New hardware includes a Wi-Fi option for the Envoy Communications Gateway and M215 Microinverter with Integrated Ground for faster and more flexible installs. In addition, new Enlighten software products, MyEnlighten and Enlighten Manager, are now available to further improve the solar consumer’s experience and the installer’s management of their fleet of systems.

enphase_logo“With the addition of these new products, we continue to simplify the installer experience with Enphase’s innovative microinverter system,” said Paul Nahi, CEO of Enphase Energy. “Combined with the recent launch of our fourth-generation M250 Microinverter, our position as the leader in microinverter systems has never been stronger.”

A Wi-Fi option for greater flexibility when choosing where to locate the Envoy Communication Gateway has been introduced. This new option simplifies connectivity of Enphase Microinverters to Enlighten’s web-based software when there is a wireless router on premise.

Based on Enphase’s fourth-generation microinverter platform with 96.5 percent CEC efficiency, the new M215 now includes Integrated Ground technology that eliminates the need for a grounding electrode conductor (GEC) to be attached to each microinverter. This labor and materials savings feature introduced with the M250 in 2013 is now included in the complete Enphase Microinverter product family in North America.

All systems reporting through the Envoy are visible in the web-based Enlighten software platform. Solar professionals can now offer their customers an engaging new Enlighten interface option, MyEnlighten, which has been specifically designed for the educational and informational needs of solar homeowners.

“MyEnlighten exceeds our customers’ needs and expectations, helping them better understand their systems’ overall performance,” said Richard Brady, lead monitoring technician for SolarMax Technologies. “The at-a-glance overview is more intuitive and easier to understand for our homeowners who are simply interested in their system’s overall performance.”

Professionals using Enlighten Manager will see new, sophisticated web-based software tools introduced to, for example, effectively prioritize maintenance needs across multiple installations. These tools and an interface designed to more easily manage multiple customers give professionals new options for controlling their operations costs.
