More and more people are working from home these days, but most homes are not really designed to be part office space. Dwell Developments is seeking to rectify this via their new development in Seattle, the so-called Live/Work. These are a home-office hybrid and were designed to make working from home more comfortable and better for the environment.
Currently two Live/Work units have been completed and they measure 2,700 sq ft (251 sq m). The ground floor of each unit contains the home office space, which can also be used as a retail space. In addition to this, each unit also has three additional living floors. These house apartments with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and an open plan living/dining and kitchen area. Each home also comes with off-street parking and an outdoor deck.
