Bay4 Energy Services brings on new president of technical services

Bay4 Energy Services LLC welcomes William Richardson as the new President of Technical Services overseeing operations & maintenance, field services and a unique testing and development group known as LABS.

Bay4 Energy O&MFounded in 2008, Bay4 Energy Services optimizes the value of energy assets for owners and operators of energy production facilities by providing best in class services and tools. These services and tools, covering portfolio and asset management, O&M (preventive and corrective), O&M Management, and Asset Management, are designed to optimize performance, manage risks, and monitor costs associated with energy facilities.

Richardson previously served as Chief Executive Officer for SOLON America, a commercial and utility-scale solar provider, directing all SOLON activities in the United States. Prior to that, Richardson served as SOLON’s general manager of all US activities regarding the development and implementation of the corporation’s long-range goals, as well as meeting business and profitability growth objectives while overseeing O&M of more than 70 sites.

Prior to joining SOLON, Richardson worked for Tucson Electric Power where he developed a profound understanding of the challenges inherent in large-scale adoption of photovoltaics into the grid. Richardson holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
