iSun wins $10 million in solar projects in New England

iSun Inc. has recently secured seven contracts valued at $10 million for solar projects in Maine and Vermont, totaling more than 12 MW.

The company secured two contracts covering 6 MW and valued at $4.9 million in Maine, with a single developer, to provide expanded solar energy capabilities at two industrial sites. The projects are scheduled to begin in spring 2023 and are expected to be completed in early 2024.

“We are pleased with our success in winning more solar energy contracts in the significant Maine market, building upon our success there in 2022. These new projects reflect the strengthening of our collaborative relationship with a leading developer, and we plan to begin implementing these projects this spring,” said Jeffrey Peck, chairman and CEO of iSun. “In 2023, we are focused on execution and efficiency, and we intend to work diligently to continue to earn the confidence of our existing customers so that we can help them achieve their goals in alternative energy initiatives. The company secured another five contracts covering 6.5 MW and valued at $5.1 million in Vermont, to provide expanded solar energy capabilities at five industrial sites. These projects also are scheduled to begin in spring 2023 and are expected to be completed in 2023 and 2024.
