Quick Mount PV, the leading American manufacturer of watertight solar roof mounting and racking systems, has received Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) product approval for its full line of L-Mount and QBase Mount solar mounting and racking hardware. The approval simplifies project permitting and installations for solar installers in the Sunshine State. Quick Mount announced its expansion to Florida earlier this year. Florida product approval is among the toughest in the country. The Sunshine State, like other states, has created measurements to determine whether products comply with a set of standards set by the DBPR.

Part of the product approval is rigorous testing in a Florida test laboratory that understands the local building codes and presenting the results to the DBPR. Quick Mount also added Florida approved quality control auditing to its Walnut Creek manufacturing plant. The product approval will include the detailed results of the testing that enables local engineers to design their systems to site specific conditions.
